Since the writers’ strike, viewers have been clamoring to find out when the show would address the death of Jackie Zeman, who portrayed beloved vet, Bobbie Spencer on General Hospital for decades.
Daytime Emmy-nominated Zeman debuted in 1977 on the ABC soap.
She died in May 2023 from cancer at 70, after a short illness.
There will be returns from past characters to bid farewell to Bobbie, along with the current cast members.that the list of those involved will include “Maxie (Kirsten Storms), who has had a special connection to Bobbie since she was a young girl, Laura, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), Scott (Kin Shriner) and Carly (Laura Wright). Also featured in the heartbreaking episodes are Finola Hughes (Anna) and Lynn Herring (Lucy), who was Jackie’s close friend in real life. Ryan Carnes, who played Lucas, will return for the tribute episodes, as well.”
Of course, Bobbie’s daughter and her best friends, Carly and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) are included in this.
