General Hospital Spoilers: Nelle’s Shocking Performance Plan – Sonny’s Bad News – Brook Lynn’s Dangerous Situation
General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, August 20, tease that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will keep introducing acts and offering her gratitude. This Nurses Ball telethon is turning into a big success, but it’s certainly not over yet! There’ll be some other great acts and the shockers that GH viewers have come to expect.
One recent shocker involved Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) microphone, which she didn’t realize was blasting her baby drama to everyone within earshot. That included Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), who’s thrilled for Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and worried about her own secret.
General Hospital fans will recall that Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes) may actually be Peter’s mother, so that’ll remain on her mind. Even so, Anna will assure Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) that this is the best possible news.
General Hospital Spoilers – Valentine Cassadine Will Push Peter August
Over with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), he’ll suggest that someone will join him if he or she’s wise. Perhaps Valentin will continue to push Peter toward the path of honesty. On the other hand, there may be some other Port Charles residents in need of Valentin’s wisdom. Either way, Valentin will be eager to give it.
Meanwhile, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will pass along some advice of her own. She’ll want Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) to stay out of something, so this might tie in with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Cyrus’ feud with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is dangerous enough without Jax stirring the pot, so that might be what Nina warns him about.
Nina might think Sonny’s perfectly capable of protecting Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and the rest of the Corinthos clan. Of course, Jax might still feel like this is his business since Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is involved. More issues could emerge for Jax and Nina after he steps up for Carly next week, so this situation is something to keep an eye on.
As for Valentin, he had his eye on Nina during that impressive dance number with Jax. Valentin’s ready to wow Nina with his own act – which likely involves the song in his heart. General Hospital spoilers say Valentin will hope to move Nina and win her over, but you can bet it’ll take more than a Nurses Ball performance to make that happen.
Gh Spoilers – Brooke Lynn Quartermain Kissed Dustin Phillips
Meanwhile, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) will snarl about someone deserving whatever she gets. That someone will surely be Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane), who just kissed Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) out of the blue. Despite Dustin’s reassurance that Lulu’s the one he wants, Lulu will think Brook Lynn needs to pay for her actions.
Brook Lynn will indeed suffer thanks to some danger that’s about to erupt, but who will come to her rescue? Could it be Dustin or maybe Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard)? Chase will be on hand to spot Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) together soon. It won’t be easy for Chase to see Willow acting like a typical married couple with Michael.
Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) has also been having a hard time watching Michael move on with Willow – and things should get even harder on Thursday. General Hospital spoilers say Sasha’s on the verge of spinning out due to her wild emotions. The drugs Sasha’s presumably about to get hooked on should become a big problem.
GH Spoilers – “Break a leg!”
Next, Ava Cassadine (Maura West) will call out to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) as he seemingly prepares for an act. “Break a leg!” Ava says backstage in Thursday’s GH preview. Nikolas stops, so he may wonder if Ava would like for him to take that literally. Ava would no doubt enjoy watching Nikolas deal with a broken bone or two!
It looks like a shouting match will be what’s on the menu instead – and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) should do some eavesdropping nearby. GH fans can expect Liz to overhear something that could affect her relationship with Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). It seems Liz will realize she got played right along with her husband.
General Hospital spoilers also point to some tough news from Turning Woods. After a text comes in for Sonny, Carly will seek confirmation that it’s from Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) facility. Sonny may realize that Mike’s death is closer than ever, so that’ll be hard to wrap his head around.
Finally, Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) will tell Julian Jerome (William deVry) that tonight’s going to be her greatest performance yet. There’s a good chance Nelle’s got a magic act in mind – one that’ll allow her to vanish and make her getaway with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).
However, Nelle should know by now that plans tend to go awry in Port Charles! This trick of hers is probably going to backfire big time, so keep watching.
