Nina has been a bag of mixed emotions off-late on General Hospital. Her longing to be involved in her daughter’s life and her resentment towards Carly have her spinning out of control. Hence, not being invited to Willow and Michael’s wedding has only served as the final nail for her in the coffin. She reacted to it by having Martin tip off SEC against Carly. Thus ensuring that Carly will get arrested soon. While this will be a mini victory for Nina, will it sustain in the long run? Nina’s Drastic Measures Against Carly
Nina Reeves is not a woman who enjoys being on the sidelines on General Hospital. However, that is exactly where she has been stuck off-late on the ABC soap. Despite her many attempts, she has not been able to get through to Willow. Meanwhile, Carly gets the front-row V.I.P. seats in Willow’s personal life. Moreover, she is also struggling with being accepting of Sonny’s mob life. Something which Carly handled much more smoothly while she was married to the handsome mobster. All of it combined has further soured Nina against Carly.
The Editor-in-Chief of Crimson is now retaliating against her nemesis big time on General Hospital. She got her hands on the perfect opportunity to take down Carly when she stumbled upon the intel about Carly and Drew being involved in insider trading. Not wanting to let the golden chance slip, she made her lawyer, Martin, tip the SEC against Carly and Drew. Although she is being extra cautious about keeping her involvement under wraps, we all know she will get exposed! In the previous episode, Ava minced no words while telling her that if she gets exposed, it will be the end of her relationship with Sonny. Ava’s warning itself is a clear indication that Nina will definitely get exposed at some point!
Sonny Dumps Nina, Willow Shuts Her Out Forever On General Hospital
Previously, on General Hospital, Sonny walked in while Nina was talking to Martin. When he asked her what that was all about, she lied straight to his face. Hence, when Sonny learns that Nina had the mother of his daughter arrested, he is livid. Moreover, the realization that Nina lied to him point-blank would make him completely lose trust in her. Nina’s stunt could prove to be exactly the kind of bomb that could blow up her relationship with Sonny. The man is already on edge with all the other things that have fallen off the rails, and a betrayal from his girlfriend at such a time would totally push his buttons in the worst way possible.
We may even get to see the old fierce Sonny Corinthos resurface on General Hospital if he feels like Nina broke his heart! So, Nina Reeves better watch her back now that she has pulled the pin out of that grenade! Moreover, her relationship with Sonny is not the only one that will take a hit by her stunt. Willow will get further jilted by her mother. The young woman is already suffering enough, she is literally standing at death’s doorstep.
And all she wants is a happy wedding ceremony with Michael. But if Nina gets Carly arrested right around the wedding, Willow will be shattered.
