On General Hospital, will Esme Prince get her memories back but keep faking Amnesia on the ABC soap opera? Considering how far she’s come and that she is out of jail with no charges pending, it’s definitely in her best interest to stay an amnesiac. But that doesn’t seem likely, does it?

General Hospital Spoilers: Esme Prince’s Amnesia Persists
There are no signs on GH that Esme Prince’s medical condition will resolve anytime soon. After taking a dive off the parapet at Wyndemere, she doesn’t remember anything from her life.
Lucky for her she survived. But then again so have many people who went off the balcony there. At first, everyone on General Hospital was skeptical that Esme actually had amnesia.
After all, she faced serious criminal charges and was thought to be the Hook Killer. But even when she was in her right mind, she told Nikolas Cassadine that she wasn’t the serial killer.
What she is, though, is a serial liar and scammer. To be fair, she came by those defects honestly given who her biological parents are on the ABC soap opera.
With parents like Heather Webber and Ryan Chamberlain, how could she turn out good at all? As a new mom herself, Esme Prince seems devoted to little Ace Cassadine.
And even when Esme had her faculties intact, she talked constantly to her pregnant belly and promised to make a better life for herself and her son on General Hospital. So, she’ll do anything to protect that baby.
Right now, Esme’s stuck with amnesia. All she knows is what people tell her about her past. And it sums up to her being an awful person. But what happens when she gets her memories back on GH?
Will Ryan Chamberlain’s Daughter Run When Memories Return on GH?
At the moment, Esme is horrified to know that her biological father is serial killer Ryan Chamberlain. And she’s equally horrified to know that her mother Heather Webber is the Hook Killer.
The bottom line is she’s the offspring of two violent serial killers. However, when Esme Prince’s amnesia reverses, this might not bother her so much.
After all, she knew how dangerous Ryan was and yet she sought him out to befriend him. And she dutifully followed his orders on General Hospital.
Meanwhile, Esme didn’t know anything about Heather and did not warm to her when they met. But that was only because she already had amnesia by then.
When she’s back to being her old rotten self, she might actually embrace horrible Heather as a mother. If so, then Esme could plot with Heather to run away with her if her mom can get out of D’Archam Asylum.
Or it could go another way and she could decide that she wants to stay with Laura Spencer, a much better influence as a mother and grandmother.
Esme Fakes it When Her Memories Return on General Hospital
General Hospital spoilers suggest Esme Prince eventually gets back her memories. But when she does. it would be a very bad idea for her to let anyone know. Why?
There are those pesky criminal charges that have been put on hold while she’s mentally incompetent. She knows that the only reason she’s not still sitting in prison with her child is because of her son.
None of her victims want to see little Ace raised in prison by an amnesiac mother. But there’s little doubt that the ABC soap will give her back her memories at some point.
And when it happens, there’s little doubt that Esme Prince will keep faking to keep the amnesia story going as long as she can.
There’s a long history on General Hospital of people faking amnesia and other conditions for sympathy, influence, or revenge. Similarly, all of those people were always found out on GH and busted for faking it.
We expect the same for Esme on the ABC sudser. The only question is how long will it be until her memories return? Will it be a big May sweeps reveal?
