While Ava could be working with any number of Sonny’s enemies, it feels more personal. Could Ava simply be taking advantage of an opportunity to be the next power couple in Port Charles?
Ava Jerome’s Deception
GH spoilers reveal that Ava and Sonny started spending time together to keep them both safe from a sniper. Ava stayed with Sonny and so did their daughter, Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).
When a shooting happened in Puerto Rico, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) saved the day.
Since coming back to Port CHarles, Ava and Sonny are getting even closer. However, Ava clearly has a deceptive end game in mind.
GH Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos’ Bipolar Medication
During a recent episode, it turned out that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is working with Pikeman. It was also made clear that Sonny’s bipolar medication was being tampered with at the manufacturer level, meaning it’s already altered by the time the pharmacy gets it.
So, when Ava had the medication secretly tested, she found out that Sonny is only getting 10% of his prescribed compound.
Ava has a history of tampering with medication, which led to the death of Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig). Ava knows that if she tells Sonny what she learned from the lab tech, then she would be an automatic suspect.
In the meantime, Sonny is continuing to spiral mentally. Sonny’s paranoia is reaching an all-new level and he’s pushing even his most loyal loved ones away.
Ava even tried to send Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) away and claimed Sonny was “resting.” It was quite odd and really stood out.
Nina Reeves Corinthos Bamboozled
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Ava assured Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) that she was trying to help fix her marriage with Sonny.
Now, Ava just realized the truth after witnessing Sonny call her as well as Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) traitors. Nina confronted Ava, and was furious.
Ava made a weak attempt to save the friendship, but not much. So, it’s clear that Ava’s end game is more valuable than her friendships, which make us really concerned.

It is suggested that Ava’s goal might not be as complicated or complex as fans think. Perhaps Ava isn’t working with anyone. This just might be Ava sensing an opportunity and going all the way with it.
At the same time, Ava seems to have a devious look in her eyes each time she glances at Sonny. Plus, if Ava just wanted Sonny romantically, she wouldn’t be deceiving his loved ones so much.
For example, why would Ava take the credit for telling Sonny that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) was awake? That suggests this could be less about romance and more about power.
Perhaps Ava’s goal is to have some of the power and control that Sonny thinks he has on Port Charles.
