‘General Hospital’ Comings and Goings: Peter August Gone or Just Soap Opera ‘Dead’?
General Hospital comings and goings wonder if Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is really dead. No doubt, Peter would love to be with the object of his obsession – Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Peter is far too villainous to die that easily on GH. Plus, how often do villains really die on soaps?
Peter August Down – But is he Out – General Hospital Comings & Goings Update
GH casting news recalls Peter August is badly hurt and got dumped somewhere – most likely in the harbor off a pier close to General Hospital. Viewers saw Peter taunt Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) to the point where the good doctor shoved Peter down a flight of stairs.
Then, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) confirmed Peter was “dead” about five seconds after he tumbled. Head wounds always bleed a lot and that’s not enough time for someone to expire. Perhaps Liz jumped the gun because she wanted him to be DOA…
Next, Liz convinced Finn to ditch Peter’s body and get back to finding a cure for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Clearly, Finn shouldn’t go down for Peter’s “murder” after all the people the villain has hurt.
So, for now, it looks like Henrik is dead and gone. And some fans might want him to die. But did they really take an uber-villain like Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) son out like that, wonder General Hospital spoilers?
Is Peter Gone that Easily? GH Casting Update
Longtime General Hospital watchers should find it hard to believe Henrik Faison would go down so quickly. Although he has been secretly terrorizing the citizens of Port Chuck for over three years now, it seems too good to be true that Peter August could actually die.
Plus, the soap didn’t show the body dump. And no one but Liz declared him clinically dead. And there’s the fact that dead’s rarely a permanent state on any soap opera. Plus, you don’t exit a big bad villain with so little fanfare and no finality. But did they do exactly that??

Peter is great at fooling people, but his time at hiding behind a veil of civility is done on General Hospital. Now, everyone knows he’s a psychotic murderer, just like his father. Or, a cheap knock-off, as Maxie put it.
So, maybe he heals, lurks somewhere, waiting for his chance at revenge. But first, he’ll need some medical attention. And consider who else survived death after being pushed into that harbor. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), most notably.
General Hospital Prediction: Henrik Returns Crazier Than Ever
GH comings and goings suspect Peter August will likely come back full-on Faison-crazy. Perhaps, even crazier since he got that conk on the head thanks to Finn. Surely, it didn’t do his state of mind any favors. However, this could be months or even years down the road…
Not to mention all of the cruel and very well-deserved things Maxie said to him. No doubt, it poisoned his mind causing him to go even more wackadoo. In Peter’s head, Maxie betrayed and then belittled him. However, he desperately wants her love on General Hospital.
Now, Peter August may go into full-on obsession mode with Maxie. And it could be Just like Faison did with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) for all of those years, remind General Hospital recaps.
So, it seems unlikely that Peter’s really dead. And far more likely that he’s going to come back so much worse now that he’s been outed as a true offspring of his wicked father.
Faison 2.0 in the Making on GH?
General Hospital spoilers hint Peter August comes back bigger and badder than ever. It’ll be like Faison’s infatuation with Henrik’s aunt Anna all over again. Surely, it seems that the powers that be were building to this. Of course, Faison’s heir should be psychotic – just like him.
But they had to build to get there. Currently, Peter August knows that Maxie hates him, recall General Hospital spoilers. Plus, he thinks his daughter, Louise, is gone. No doubt, Henrik is as obsessed with his little girl as he is with Maxie. He thinks they are the key to his redemption.

However, he no longer wants that. All bets are off, and all he wants is Maxie and Louise. So, Peter August could resurface at some point down the road to reclaim what he believes belongs to him on the ABC soap opera.
If Peter August ever does show his face in Port Charles again – maybe then GH will really kill him off. But that also seems unlikely given the string of “killed” and resurrected victims including his dad and Cassadine baddies on the soap…
