General Hospital literally has us on the edge of our seats these days. It has become so thrilling and unpredictable, that there is absolutely no telling that what’s going to happen next on the soap. We recently witnessed the shocking death of Nikolas Cassadine. While we were well aware that Nik’s exit from the soap was near, we all thought he would fall off the canvas by skipping town. However, the makers took the drastic step of killing him off. That too at Ava’s hands! The latest spoilers hint that this is not the only death that Wyndemere will witness. Another mighty character is about to fall! Will it be Austin? Is Roger Howarth exiting General Hospital?
Austin Gets Caught In The Wyndemere Drama
Ava Jerome already complicated her life by letting her rage takeover her on General Hospital. Amidst a heated argument with Nik, she smashed his head with a statue. Ava never intended to kill her estranged husband, but the blow did the job anyway. Ava swiftly called in Austin to help her get rid of Nik’s body. The duo temporarily moved it to the stables at Wyndemere, buying themselves some more time to think how to safely get rid of Nik’s dead body. Eventually, Austin and Ava decided to take care of it after Portia and Curtis’ wedding.
Unfortunately, Ryan Chamberlain had different plans for Ava and Austin on General Hospital. Finally out of prison, Ryan now has the chance to act upon his obsessions with Ava. He attacked Mac Scorpio, stole his gun, and made way to Wyndemere. Once in, he takes Ava and Felecia hostage with Mac’s gun. On the other side, Austin reaches the castle to assist Ava in getting rid of Nik’s body. As Austin sneaks in, he realizes that something fishy is up in the main house. Just as he makes his way to the Cassadine living room, Heather Webber attacks him with the wretched Hook!
Austin Gets Hooked, Will He Die On General Hospital
When Austin and Ava suddenly started to enter each other’s orbit, speculations skyrocketed that they will rise up as the next power couple of General Hospital. Moreover, when Ava asked for Austin’s help, and he readily agreed, it became all the confirmation we needed to expect an Ava-Austin romance in the future. However, the makers may have just put a pin in the love bubble or might way say they put a hook in it. The Hook Killer’s poisoned weapon has claimed way too many lives to take this attack lightly.
If Austin doesn’t get immediate medical attention, the doctor is as good as gone on General Hospital. On any other given year, we would’ve felt confident that someone would come to his rescue and he would survive. But this year is not the same! General Hospital is doing all things unthinkable, so we can’t really reject the idea that Austin might die
. Moreover, the head writer had teased that Wyndemere would be drowning in blood this February! So is Austin following Nik to six feet under ground level? Does that mean actor Roger Howarth is exiting the ABC soap?
We have learned to never say never when it comes to the soap universe! A dig into the internet assured us that there is no official confirmation regarding Roger Howarth leaving the soap.
