General Hospital Spoilers: ‘Eddie’ & Nina’s Secret Pact – Discovery Brings Shocking Twist?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that some surprising developments are coming up in Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) amnesia storyline. GH fans know Ned woke up in the hospital believing he was Eddie Maine, so his loved ones will continue to struggle with his new path.

At this point, “Eddie” doesn’t want to live as a Quartermaine, so he’d like to distance himself from that lifestyle and focus on his music.

“Eddie” was kind to Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda), but he still doesn’t want to be a real dad or Olivia Quartermaine’s (Lisa LoCicero) husband for that matter.

However, “Eddie” has formed a bit of a friendship with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who doesn’t try to force him into that same Ned box as everyone else. Nina is fine with “Eddie” being “Eddie,” so he appreciates her attitude toward him.

Although Nina has ulterior motives, “Eddie” isn’t aware of that just yet. Will Nina’s bond with “Eddie” come in handy once he learns too much?

During the week of July 31-August 4, “Eddie” will be taken aback by something he discovers.

Of course, there’s no guarantee that’ll be about Nina and her secret SEC tipoff, but that’s certainly an option to consider.

Perhaps “Eddie” will overhear Nina admitting she’s responsible for Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) fine and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) time behind bars.

Nina might express regret to Ava Jerome (Maura West) and acknowledge that her relationship with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is in jeopardy along with her new relationship with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).

What happens if “Eddie” eavesdrops and becomes privy to Nina’s secret just like the real Ned was?

“Eddie” has no reason to care about Carly and Drew’s punishment – nor does he care about the accusations Ned faced.

Maybe “Eddie” will assure Nina that he understands and won’t rat her out, even if the real Ned was going to.

It could lead to a secret pact between “Eddie” and Nina, so a discovery like this could bring a big twist in this storyline.

Once “Eddie” inevitably regains his memories down the road, it could be a situation like “Mike” from Nixon Falls.

Will Ned keep a little bit of “Eddie’s” personality and take pity on Nina by keeping quiet then, too?

Naturally, it’s also possible Ned will turn against Nina once again after his memories resurface. Ned might feel manipulated by Nina and become even more determined to take her down.

It’ll be interesting to see where GH writers go with this, especially if “Eddie” indeed learns Nina’s secret.
