Although the Brown family adults have gone their separate ways, they were once a dedicated and seemingly happy family. Many Sister Wives fans recall the sweet commitment ceremony the family went through back in 2013. It was a symbol of their love and commitment to the polygamous family unit.
But in hindsight, it’s obvious that things went awry. So what do Kody, Robyn, Meri, Christine, and Janelle all think about the commitment ceremony after over a decade?

Sister Wives: Look Back will be on TLC very soon. In this special, Kody, Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn will get a chance to review old clips from the show and share their thoughts.
And of course, they will review the commitment ceremony they did back in 2013. So how exactly do the adults feel about the ceremony now?
PEOPLE gained exclusive access to a clip ahead of Sunday night’s new episode. It looks like most of the adults cringe as they reflect on this period in their lives.
Unsurprisingly, Robyn Brown declares that the clip is too much for her to handle. She bursts into tears and asks for a break. But what about the others?
As Meri Brown puts it, “We failed ourselves.” She adds that she feels angry with all of the adults for how things turned out.
“What is it that they say, your mission should you choose to accept it? We didn’t choose to accept it. It’s heartbreaking to me,” Meri continued.
However, it seems that Christine feels a little differently about the commitment ceremony. Although she was the first to leave Kody, Christine thinks the commitment ceremony is “one of those days that was special.”
Kody adds that he felt the commitment ceremony was “inspired.” But ultimately, he believes there just wasn’t enough loyalty in the family to make it all work.
Robyn Brown has another meltdown and walks off stage
If Sister Wives viewers felt annoyed at Robyn Brown’s over-the-top emotional behavior in the tell-all episodes, they’re going to be particularly aggravated with the Look Back special.
Early clips from the special suggest that Robyn is going to have a complete emotional meltdown. Viewers have come to expect this behavior from the TLC star. However, many have grown tired of seeing her outbursts take over each episode.
