Meri Brown didn’t inherit Lizzie’s Heritage Inn even though it belonged to her great-great-grandparents. She had to struggle a lot to purchase it. The Sister celeb didn’t have the funds for a down payment, but she was determined to get it under her name.
Hence, Meri proposed a genuine plan to the Browns. She asked them to contribute and suggested that Chrisine’s mother could run it. But things couldn’t fall in her favor, and even Kody also clearly refused to contribute even a single penny to achieving Meri’s dream.
Though Meri has never talked about the sources she got her downpayment from, she has made it clear that the Browns had nothing to do with it. She even stated that her family was the only support and had helped her in the process. That could be the reason why Meri offered a permanent room to Bonnie in her B&B to settle the issue of the latter’s residence.
