Amos, 55, was the first partner she had revealed to the public ever since she and ex Kody Brown split in January 2023 after more than 30 years together.

Now, a source exclusively told The U.S. Sun her plans going forward.

“She’s not giving up hope in finding love and her future husband,” a source revealed.

“She is going to continue dating and will keep it on the down low.”

The source went on to say that she “learned a big lesson” from debuting Amos to the world and now, may have some regrets.

“She fell hard too fast with Amos and then hard launched her relationship too soon,” the source shared.

“She should have waited for it to be more serious.

“She was excited, though, and couldn’t wait to share it with the world.”

Meri and Amos began dating in October 2023, but the Sister Wives star kept the relationship a secret until her birthday on January 16.

Sister Wives’ Meri Brown finally confirms she split from boyfriend Amos Andrews after couple receives major backlash

“He’s a good person, we’re just not each other’s long-term person,” Meri told her fans.

An insider later told The U.S. Sun that the Salt Lake City man’s “financial issues” were something Meri realized was going to be a problem down the road.

“Meri is looking for financial support and someone who can support her goals and help her become successful,” they spilled.

“She won’t settle for anything less. She is not settling and wants to do better than the other sister wives.”

The insider said that Amos “didn’t have a stable job,” which was one major red flag on top of the other “red flags.”

“Basically, everything had gone wrong,” the insider shared, and once more about his background came out – including his money troubles and nasty second divorce – “it was just too many red flags and it became overwhelming.”

MARRIAGE 2.0

Meri has been estranged from Christine, Janelle, and Robyn Brown ever since spiritually divorcing Kody.

She is now focused on growing her bed and breakfast in Parowan, Utah, as well as her new business venture, Worthy Up.

However, just months ago she spoke about wanting to find her soulmate, especially after hearing about Christine’s happiness with now-husband David Woolley.

During a December 2023 Sister Wives special, Meri told the host, “I have hope that I will find somebody to share my life with, yeah.”

Later in the episode, she was asked if she would be open to another marriage.

“Yeah, I do. I hope to find somebody who loves and accepts the person that I am and cherishes me and knows my heart and likes it,” Meri said.

She and Kody legally divorced in September 2014 so that he could legally marry his now last-standing wife Robyn.

SPEAKING THE TRUTH

On February 25, the reality star posted a new photo of herself smiling and appearing to look up in the sky.

She spoke out about her breakup more in-depth by beginning with, “Last week, I had to face some hard truths and have some difficult conversations.

“Just because I care a lot about someone, and him me, does not equate to full compatibility for a long-term relationship.”

She went on to explain that they had “different dreams and aspirations, different communication styles and values, [and] different visions for our futures” that didn’t align.

“It’s a strange and sad thing to care about someone so deeply, to look beyond their past, because heaven knows we all have one, to see the kindness in their eyes and their giving heart, and still know that a life long relationship isn’t in the cards for you,” Meri revealed.

She concluded by telling her fans that she “cared” about what happened these past four months and knows “what’s important” to her in a relationship all while learning about herself.

Amos, who is not active on social media, has yet to speak out.
