A new revelation on her social media suggests that she almost saw the cops in Utah take her father, Kody Brown, away! He was on the verge of being under arrest. What did he do?

Kody Brown and his four wives brought forward a unique storyline with their show Sister Wives. TLC garnered a lot of viewers when the Brown family showcased its polygamist lifestyle. But fans must be aware by now that this practice is prohibited in many states, and it was illegal in Utah back in the day. Well, that’s where the Browns used to live. Polygamy was a common thing in the state back in the 1800-1900s. But the law changed as time passed. It turns out that Christine’s daughter Gwendlyn saw her father almost get arrested when she was a little girl.
In one of her sessions, she answered Sister Wives fans’ questions about why the Browns moved from Utah to Las Vegas. Gwen mentioned that the polygamy law endangered her family. For instance, cops would show up at her house while saying that they were going to take her dad, Kody Brown, to prison. Hence, it was easy for the family to dodge such a bullet by uprooting themselves and moving to another city. They decided to go through with their Las Vegas move.
Sister Wives: Kody & Robyn Moving Back To Utah Despite Being LawBreakers?
Christine Brown was the first out of the four Sister Wives who wanted the family to move back to Utah from Las Vegas. She first suggested this in Season 15 when the state “decriminalized” the polygamy law. But Kody didn’t give in, as Janelle and Robyn had no desire to do so. At last, Christine initiated the plan to move to Utah once again, but when Kody refused, their relationship deteriorated even more. That’s when Christine took the decision to dump her husband and move to Utah.
Speculations say that Christine, Janelle, and Meri have all moved on and split with Kody Brown. Hence, he only has Robyn Brown by his side. So, the couple is now monogamous. As mentioned above, Utah has also decriminalized the bigamy law. Thus, Kody is no more at risk of getting arrested.
