Meri, 52, shared the heartbreaking post on her Instagram on Friday.

The TLC star posted two childhood photos of her and her brothers and sister along with her emotional and lengthy caption: “About 5 weeks ago I got a text from my brother saying he had made the decision to not continue his chemo treatment, due to the rapid progression of his cancer & deterioration of his body.

“Yesterday, Oct 5, 2023, just 2 months short of his 55th birthday, we lost him.

“I have so many good memories with him over the years, because, siblings. I also have some not so good memories with him through the years, because, siblings.”

She went on to explain that when she heard about Adam’s terminal illness and that he had a short while to live, it “hit her like a ton of bricks.”

The TV personality also revealed that she lost her younger sister, Teresa, in 2006 to cancer.

In 2015, her oldest brother, Marc, died of heart complications.

She continued: “I don’t yet understand why his passing, and leaving me as the one remaining of the original four, is impacting me like it is. Maybe I’ll figure it out someday, maybe I won’t. Only time will tell.

“The relationship I had with him taught me many things, and I have no doubt will continue to teach me things. I remain open to those lessons & look forward to them with anticipation. For now, I remember him with honor, kindness, & love.”

‘SO SORRY’
Sister Wives fans flooded the comment section and sent their condolences to Meri as one wrote: “This is such a nice tribute!”

“Hugs Meri. Will be thinking of you. It’s so hard losing a sibling,” commented another.

A third wrote: “Oh Meri, I’m so very sorry! I understand that kind of thinking and pain.”

“So very sorry for your loss. Heartfelt words,” said a fifth.

MERI’S HEARTBREAK
In March of 2021, Meri revealed that her mother, Bonnie, had died “unexpectedly.”

Bonnie made several appearances on Sister Wives and also helped run Meri’s bed and breakfast, Lizzie’s Heritage Inn.

On Instagram, she broke the news: “76 years and 17 days was not enough time for the world to feel the beautiful spirit of this beautiful woman.

“This woman whose life mission was to give, to love, to serve. This woman who only knew how to do for others. This woman who would drop everything for you. This woman who was strong, resilient, compassionate.

“This woman who was a safe place to land, no matter where, no matter when. This woman, this beautiful woman, my mom.”

The star continued: “She left us suddenly, unexpected, and extremely way too soon and I literally don’t know how I’m going to do the rest of my life without her.

“Mom, I love you beyond the words I can express here, but I know you know that.

“You are loved, you are missed, and I know you are so happy celebrating on the other side with dad, hugging your daughter and son who left us too soon, reuniting with your parents, and getting to know your dad.

“Love them all, hug them all, and be happy. Or rather, just continue filling that space around you with the light that you always do. I love you Mom!”
