‘HEARTLESS!’ Sister Wives fans blast Kody Brown for ‘disgusting’ behavior after Meri breaks down in tears following admission
SISTER Wives star Kody Brown has been ripped online after watching his first wife, Meri, cry.
In tonight’s Sister Wives episode, Kody ruffled feathers based off his reaction to Meri’s big news.
Meri Brown revealed her plans to move part-time to Utah
As it turns out, her ex Kody didn’t seem to care that his first wife is moving
In the scene, Meri, 52, was talking to Kody, 54, and his fourth wife Robyn, 44.
Meri was discussing her plans to move her clothing business to her bed-and-breakfast in Utah.
Since her mother’s passing, she’s been spending more time in the state and the commute has been hard on her.
She will still be renting a property in Flagstaff, Arizona, where Kody lives, but she’ll be splitting her time between the two areas.
Meri told Kody and Robyn: “I don’t want to live there. I don’t want it to be my house. I’ve said since the second we were kicked out of Utah, I don’t want to live back in Utah.
“I don’t want you to think I’m walking away because, sorry, I still have hope.”
LIVING WITH ANXIETY
She then started talking about all the “anxiety” her business and living situation had been causing her, and that’s when she broke down in tears.
In a confessional, the TLC star said: “I was really just kind of hoping that he would care a little bit more.”
But, instead of showing any emotion for his wife, Kody sat there in silence.
She said the conversation confirmed that nothing in their marriage would change, so she should continue to live independently.
At the end of the clip, Kody finally spoke up in a confessional and said the conversation made him feel “uncomfortable.”
He claimed that he has one wife who “respects him,” Robyn, and he’s worried that she’ll “lose respect” for him if he abandons any of his other wives.
FANS GO OFF
Fans of the show on social media saw the scene and tore into Kody for his attitude about Meri.
“Kody is disgusting. He isn’t even treating Meri with the respect the mother of his children deserves!” one person raged.
Another added: “Kody is a loser. This polygamy farce has run its course.”
“Kody only maintained relationships with his other wives to maintain Robyn’s respect for him,” a third user shared.
“Wow! Hearing this should make Meri exit like Christine and Janelle,” a fan stated, referring to his second and third wife; the latter who got married over the weekend to David Woolley.
One viewer reacted: “Come on he is so cold and a heartless man. Sad she was his first love, first wife and he can be so unemotional.”
Fans have been turning their backs on Kody ever since Christine, 51, was the first wife to step away from Kody.
