Sister Wives star Robyn Brown now finds herself Kody Brown‘s target, as anger replaces the lust he once demonstrated for his youngest wife on the TLC series.

Kody said he now finds a dark wind blowing through him, which conjures up all types of comical responses from fans. This week, the One-on-One episode brings new revelations from the father of 18. But this evokes tears from his last wife standing as she peels off a few more layers of their not-so-ideal marriage.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown Suffers from Dark Winds

Kody Brown isn’t the most poetic with words, which is something that Robyn Brown touched on this season. He lacks a filter, the one that your thoughts go through before putting them into words.

Robyn previously said on Sister Wives that Kody blurts out whatever is in his head at the time. And often, especially if it’s said in anger, it ends up making him look bad.

So, this week on the Sister Wives One-on-One episode, Kody Brown describes his mood as dark winds blowing through him. These dark winds took a toll on Robyn Brown as she struggled to talk about it in her emotional state on the screen.

Wind Blown Robyn Brown Pushed Away?

Kody said he self-sabotages his relationship with Robyn, and she agrees. At one point, the Sister Wives One-on-One interviewer, Sukanya Krishnan, asks Kody about this.

He’s sitting there, telling her that he sabotages his relationship with Robyn. So, Sukanya questions him about loving Robyn. After all, he recently said on Sister Wives that nothing will come between him and his fourth wife.

Yet, it looks like that’s just what he’s doing, pushing her away. Fans found his answer to this very selfish. He claims he was punishing himself. But fans saw this as the once-shared husband taunting his wife.

Sister Wives: Kody Does It One More Time?

Many online comments suggest that it now sounds as if the Sister Wives patriarch reverts into the same husband the other wives left behind. This time, Robyn gets the brunt of his less-than-pleasing behaviors.

While Kody Brown aims this inappropriate behavior toward Robyn, he still says he loves her. He didn’t seem to keep himself in check on the screen when mentioning taking on another lover. Viewers suggested how that had to be painful for Robyn to hear.

If he didn’t say that to Robyn Brown already at home, she will surely hear about it now as the episode airs. Sure, Sister Wives is based on a man with multiple wives.

But Kody Brown brought up another lover, seemingly outside that context.  He didn’t say he’d get another wife. Instead, it was “lover”. Then he backpedaled and said he would just tell this new lover that he loves another woman, so it wouldn’t work.

But that would be upsetting to any wife, so when he says he’s sabotaging the only marriage he has left, it sounds like he does it well. But fans think his dark wind explanation is worth noting, as they had some fun with it on social media.

Fans’ Ideas on Kody’s Dark Winds

When Kody mentions dark winds flowing through him, some fans sarcastically suggest they make medicine for this. Other Sister Wives viewers suggested a medical test in a joking matter to find the source of those winds.

Bloating and gas were also mentioned among fans who found Kody’s wording a bit bizarre. Despite Robyn looking emotionally distraught, Sister Wives viewers find it hard to empathize with her and this once-shared husband.

Fans became turned off by him, even more so than usual. The way he presented the end of his marriage to Meri Brown did the trick for many. And then learning Janelle Brown had to fight for finances, which were rightfully hers when she separated from Kody, only made things worse for him in the eyes of the viewers.

So, empathy seems at a low point for Robyn Brown and Kody Brown as they wallow in what is left of the marriage they once called plural, featured on the TLC series.
