General Hospital Comings & Goings: Marcus Coloma Out as Nikolas Cassadine
GH casting updates confirm Marcus Coloma’s final scenes aired last week. Marcus’ contract as Nikolas is up. And due to some recent health issues, Marcus opted not to finish his scenes as Nikolas.
So, starting this week, Nikolas Cassadine will be recast. And Adam Huss will likely step into Marcus’ role of Nikolas, seeing as he’s already filled in a few times. Of course, General Hospital fans know that a lot is going on with Nikolas Cassadine right now.
And his storyline needs to play out. Perhaps the recast will stay on as Nikolas in Marcus’ place. Or, the character could be written off altogether. Indeed, many fans want Tyler Christopher (the OG Nikolas) to return.
Perhaps, Tyler will come back someday to reprise the role he originated. But for now, viewers are eager to see how it will all play out for Nik. He has a new baby on the way with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).
