Spencer gets quite the shock this week on GENERAL HOSPITAL! Plus, Nina throws Michael under the bus, and Esme goes before the judge. Will she wind up behind bars?
Now that the truth that Nina was the one who arranged for Carly and Drew to be turned in to the SEC has been revealed, she’s persona non grata around Port Charles. But she decides that some of Carly’s anger should be redirected and fills her in on the whole truth. “The reason it was kept a secret for so long was because Michael knew… and said nothing,” Nina reveals. Willow already knew about Michael’s part in covering up the truth but Carly didn’t! So when she and Drew arrive at the Quartermaines, Michael looks understandably nervous. Will he be able to talk his way out of it?
“All rise!” the bailiff commands the courtroom as the judge enters. Even with Martin as her lawyer and Laura sitting behind her in support, Esme fears the worst. “How does the defendant plead?” the judge inquires. Esme confessed to breaking and entering at Wyndemere but Ava insisted on pressing charges in the hopes of making the young woman pay for at least one of her many crimes. But will the schemer wriggle out of this one, too?
Meanwhile, Spencer has promised to take care of Ace if anything should happen to Esme, but as he’s only the baby’s brother, there’s still one person whose rights trump his. And Spencer is stunned to open the door to find that person standing there — his father, Nikolas! “Father,” he whispers grimly. Nikolas responds: “Hello, Spencer.” Is Nik here to take his son away? Because Spencer would never let that happen!
