General Hospital Spoilers: Nina’s Slip Of The Tongue Won’t End With Maxie, But Could End All Chances Of Reconciliation With Sonny Or Willow

General Hospital spoilers reveal Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) may have slipped up and let Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) know she was doing the nasty with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), but trouble brews ahead when Nina can’t seem to keep her lips zipped about the encounter.

She knows she can trust Maxie, for the most part, but the ease with which she gushed about her dalliance with Drew may signal that it’s going to be even easier for Nina to keep that gossip flowing when the opportunity presents itself for her to let it slip to someone else.

Could that someone else be Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) or someone close to her? Let’s be honest — Nina would relish letting Carly know, but it wouldn’t look good coming from her, and Nina may not be ready for the world to know what she’s up to just yet.

Fans are in a heated debate over whether Nina’s slip of the tongue was really just that when she chased Maxie down at Deception.

Desperate to share the good news that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) spoke to her so kindly with anyone who would listen, Nina blurted out news of her spontaneous sexcapades with Drew at the same time.

She certainly caught Maxie’s attention, but it left many fans wondering if that was her intention all along. Even subconsciously, could Nina be trying to work out how to tell people about her daytime romps with Drew because she thinks it may benefit her in some way? She better think again.

GH Spoilers Hint Nina Can’t Help Herself

It’s not uncommon that after getting a secret off one’s chest, it may feel easier to share the same with others. That may be what Nina is about to experience.

Now that she realizes telling Maxie the truth didn’t cause her world to end, she may feel more secure in sharing that information with others, too. But who?

Rumor has it Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) might be the next person to hear from Nina. After all, Nina has very few people she can call friends any longer.

It makes sense that if she told Sasha, someone in the Q mansion might overhear, or it may start circulating if Sasha and Maxie dish about it.

Nina will come to rue the day she ever mentioned the truth about her entanglement with Drew to anyone. We can expect that she will see their error in judgment in discussing her private life as the problem — not the fact that she shared that information with them willingly or engaged with Drew, to begin with. Nina is never culpable for her actions.

We predict Nina will be reeling with grief all over again soon when word of her trysts with Drew gets back to Willow — and convinces her she was wrong to forgive Nina and wrong to give Drew props for doing the same.
