General Hospital: What’s Next For Nicholas?
We know that Nicholas bagged a huge opportunity from Netflix for the series, Monster: The Lyle and Erik Menendez. He is roped in for Lyle’s character in this real-life serial killing anthology. Thrilling, isn’t it? Hence, Nicholas caught the offer as soon as it rang his doorbell! Fans are excited to see one of their favorites from GH on Netflix. We must see if the actor will grab everyone’s attention in this series too. But again, what about his character on General Hospital?
Although General Hospital fans are happy for Chavez, they are sort of worried about his role in the daytime. After all, Nicholas Chavez is the center of attraction in GH as Spencer Cassadine. His character made Spencer a fan favorite within a short span of time. Currently, on the soap, Spencer is in the front row with multiple storylines, including a love story. Trina Robinson and Spencer are a young couple in Port Charles who have great chemistry. If GH makers go for a recast, fans are skeptical that this couple might lose their spark! Also, there is Esme, who is rooting for Spencer, and if the actor is suddenly replaced, it might not bring the same aura. Therefore, GH viewers are not yet ready to see a new face like Spencer.
However, General Hospital makers succeeded in recasting Sydney Mikayla with Tabyana Ali as Trina. And they are waiting for Cameron Webber to return to the sets without replacing him. Likewise, GH fans are hoping even Nicholas could be leaving temporarily and won’t have a recast. Do you think another actor will replace him?
