General Hospital Comings and Goings: Sasha Gilmore Follows Doctor’s Orders
GH casting updates confirm Sasha Gilmore is currently on bed rest due to high blood pressure. Surely, Brando Corbin‘s (Johnny Wactor) mom, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), isn’t helping Sasha’s stress levels. But, in real life, General Hospital actress Mattsson, who plays Sasha, is on her maternity leave to spend time with her hubby and newborn baby boy.
Sasha’s adorable baby bump was very real, and Sofia is now a happy new mommy. So, the next time we see Sasha Gilmore, she and Brando will most likely be welcoming their bundle of joy. And there will surely be plenty of drama waiting for Sasha when she returns on General Hospital. So, it looks like Sasha Gilmore will be off the scene for a couple of months – watch for updates.
Briana Henry Says Goodbye as Jordan Ashford – GH Casting News
General Hospital ins and outs confirm Briana Henry’s time as top-cop Jordan Ashford is officially over, as Soap Dirt had just recently reported. that Jordan is off to a facility in Albany to recover from carbon monoxide poisoning. And the actress confirmed that her run as Jordan Ashford is over as she left the soap. The same day she marked three years on GH, her last episode aired.
There is also chatter that she might be pregnant. If so, she may want to take time off from acting to be with family. As to whether or not the lady commish will be recast or is gone for good remains to be seen. No doubt, many General Hospital fans will miss Briana, and we wish her well.

However, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) might not give him a chance. Also, Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) and her half-brother Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) should be returning from protective custody soon.
Genie was on vacation, but is set to return as Laura this Fall. So, we should see her soon, and the timing couldn’t be better. No doubt, Laura needs to get her grandson, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), in check, promise General Hospital updates. Will she back before he confesses to stalking “Nava”?

GH this week brings back Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) as “Mike” leaves for good. After nearly dying in the Tan-O fire, amnesiac Mike is gone, and the mob boss’s memories are finally back on General Hospital. But, he is furious with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) for keeping his identity a secret.
Now, he’s desperate to get back to his family – mainly his wife, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). However, Sonny’s in for a horrible shock when he sees that Carly married Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). General Hospital spoilers tell us he goes home to Casa Corinthos and finds “Jarly” in an intimate moment.
Maurice Benard promises it will be intense when the mobster sees how different his life looks. Also, his daughter Kristina Corinthos (Lexi Ainsworth) is back soon. No doubt, she will be in shock to learn that her father is alive. And he will undoubtedly need her support. It’s a big week ahead with these casting changes and more action.
