‘General Hospital’ Comings and Goings: Robert Scorpio Returns & Two Villains Resurface

General Hospital: Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers)

General Hospital comings and goings reveal Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) finally returns to shake things up, and fans are ecstatic. Meanwhile, an old villain resurfaces with a new face, and another legacy character should return to GH soon. Now, check out the latest casting changes for the ABC soap opera.

General Hospital Comings and Goings: Tristan Rogers Filming Soon – Robert Scorpio Scenes
GH casting updates report that Robert Scorpio will be back on-screen again in no time. Tristan is ready to start filming shortly. Meaning fans get something to look forward to. Currently, he’s not on the canvas. And General Hospital fans are chomping at the bit for Robert Scorpio’s return – especially given the emerging storylines.

After all, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is still alive and wreaking havoc on General Hospital. And Robert Scorpio wants to put an end to Peter more than anyone. So, it’s only fitting that Robert Scorpio takes part in Henrik’s downfall. Plus, he should be there for his goddaughter, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). But there’s more need for Robert with the new Cassadine threat as well.

General Hospital: Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers)

Surely, there’s a laundry list of reasons Robert Scorpio should be back back on General Hospital. One of them is the return of an epic villain (with a recast face). No doubt, he’ll want to be in on that plot. Plus, Robert’s close friend Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) will face a challenge soon. Easton Rocket Sweda is now playing Liv’s son, Leo Falconeri.

His former portrayer, Aaron Bradshaw, is already out as Leo. Soon, Olivia finds out that her son has some delays. Liv will need Robert’s support, especially because this challenge will pull her further away from her hubby Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth). And we may see more sparks between Liv and super-spy Robert.

Cyrus Renault Back and Badder Than Ever – GH Casting News
General Hospital ins and outs know Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is back in full force and out for revenge. Currently, Cyrus is far away in prison – but he has a long reach. The villain is in cahoots with the five families. And he wants to destroy Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and remove him from the mob biz once and for all.

And his plan could very well work. Soon, Vincent Novak (Glenn Taranto) and Mr. Buscema (Bart Tangredi) carry out a plan during the “Jarly” wedding. Unfortunately, Jason and bride-to-be Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) are outnumbered. And war may ensue with many innocent victims gathered at risk.

Thankfully, Cyrus’ sister Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) should return soon. Actress Genie’s hiatus is coming to an end. So, Laura can handle Cyrus. And General Hospital spoilers promise that even before Laura returns, her presence will be felt. But, she may find a way to stop her evil brother even while she’s stuck in protective custody with other brother, Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight).

General Hospital Ins and Outs: Victor Cassadine Alive – But Looks Very Different
GH casting news is happy to report that longtime villain Victor Cassadine (formerly Thaao Penghlis) is officially back from the dead. However, the role now belongs to Charles Shaughnessy. If you’re a longtime watcher, you might recall Shaugnessy had a short arc playing a con man who was Holly Sutton’s (Emma Samms) cousin.

Now, he’s got the prime role as Victor. And he is certainly making the character his own on General Hospital. Recently, Victor snatched up Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). Clearly, Victor is still crazy about Liesl. Or he’s just plain crazy. We’ll have to see once we get more episodes with the very much alive villain.

Clearly, the mad villain plans to keep Obrecht all to himself. Elsewhere, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) is set to exit for a while. Recently, Sofia welcomed her new baby boy, and she will be on maternity leave. However, this may spell trouble for Sasha, who is about to attend a mob wedding.

Soon, the model may end up in danger and could fall into a coma until Sofia resumes filming. So get ready to see Robert Scorpio back in action to handle all the evil villains popping up on the ABC soap opera and all the other drama.
