General Hospital: Austin Holt Steps up for Ava Jerome
Recently, on GH, Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) took a big risk for his friend, Ava Jerome (Maura West). After she accidentally killed her husband, Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) he walked in on her stashing his body. But, instead of turning her in, he agreed to help her hide Nik.
Austin knows it was a genuine accident, recall General Hospital recaps. And he does not want her to go down for it. More importantly, he also doesn’t want Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) to kill her. So, he’s going out on a limb for his new pal. But it may cost him his life…
Austin, the Latest Hook Victim on GH
Currently, the General Hospital doc is fighting for his life after Heather Webber (Alley Mills) hooked him. He was about to help Ava dispose of Nik’s corpse.
Then, Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) barged into Wyndemere. And the psycho took Ava and his longtime obsession, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), hostage.
He overheard and was ready to call the cops. But then, Heather showed up and got him with the hook.
Now, he is bleeding out at the castle, and things look bleak. The dying doctor won’t make it if he doesn’t get to General Hospital right away.
Fans will recall how quickly Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) died after just a scratch from the poisoned hook. So, it doesn’t look like the good doctor has much time. However, there might be one thing in his favor. Heather didn’t plan his attack — it was spur of the moment.
So, the hook may not be dipped in venom. And that might be the only thing saving his life. However, he’s losing a massive amount of blood. And Austin could very well leave Spoon Island in a body bag.

So, there is a chance that he announces the doc’s death. Indeed, many fans would be sad to see him go. So, hopefully, he’ll get medical care fast. Viewers are loving his chemistry with Ava and want to see more.
