General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Kills Mason, Austin Both Rescues AND Blackmails Her?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) is dispensable, unlike his partner in crime Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth).
Both are in deep with their crime overlord Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) but only one has the skill set to stitch up perps and prescribe much needed meds.
After a scene in which Ava Jerome (Maura West) pretty much told him as much, Mason simply sucked on his lollipop and took his leave.
There was something very final about that interaction and now we know why it seemed as if we could have been seeing the last of the mean man.
General Hospital spoilers – Ava Jerome’s Revenge?
Ava and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) thought they had the cat in the bag when they fooled Mason in a bid to protect their daughter, Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).
When Mason demanded inside info about Sonny’s business, the coffee importer left some evidence for evil nanny Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) to find.
She ran with it but in the end Sonny was the victor and Renault is feeling the pressure to fix the big set-up.
GH spoilers – Mason Gatlin Is Toast?
When Mason threatened Ava, she turned it back on him, saying he used an amateur, Betty, to do his dirty work.
She said the obvious, which is that the failed sting is on Mason’s shoulders. Convict Cyrus is now in trouble with the feds and the warden and he wants someone to pay.

General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Is A Mean Man
Cyrus could tell Mason to neutralize what he sees as the weak link, which is Ava who knows too much.
Ava has already “killed” Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) who she has no idea is still alive. She won’t hesitate to “kill” again especially if her daughter is threatened.
Since Austin is her co-conspirator in Nikolas’ disappearance we can see him getting involved again if Ava strikes out at Mason. Mason has made Austin’s life a nightmare, he would be relieved to be rid of the bad guy!
GH spoilers indicate that there are some jaw dropping plot twists on the horizon. Tell us GH fans, do you think it is inevitable that Mason is a goner, and do you want his victim, Ava, to be the one who rids Port Chuck of his menace?
