General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Morgan Corinthos (last played by Bryan Craig) could be coming back as a recast in future episodes of General Hospital, according to a blind item in Soap Opera Digest recently.
General Hospital Spoilers – The Recast Could Be For Any Of The Four Soaps
It would be good for General Hospital viewers to remember that this blind item could refer to any one of the four soaps currently on the air; General Hospital, Days of Our Lives, The Young and The Restless, or The Bold and The Beautiful. The blind item refers to one of the four soaps actively auditioning for a recast of a major character that has been off the canvas of the particular soap for a while.
For instance, if it were Days of Our Lives it might be a recast for Hope Brady (last played by Kristian Alfonso), or if it were for The Young and The Restless, it might be a recast for Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle). Let’s consider a few General Hospital characters who this might be, although nothing is for certain; again, this would be someone who has been off the canvas for a while and a major character.
GH Spoilers – Who Could This Character Be?
General Hospital viewers of course have been talking about character mentions and considering if they could be the recast being looked for, with longtime viewers wondering if it might be Jeff Webber (Richard Dean Anderson) or Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer). Longtime viewers of General Hospital certainly might have considered them major characters, and back in their day, they were; but they’ve been mentioned in the show for months now, and the show in question has only began their search.
A recast of either Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) or Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) would be great, but shouldn’t the show have cast someone to support the Spencer family who could have appeared at Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) memorial service? They were mentioned, but Lulu is still in a coma and Lucky would have had to quarantine in South Africa for ten days before coming. However, a mention was made of Lucky and Ethan Sutton (Nathan Parsons) coming to the second memorial Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) is having in Amsterdam; but Tracy already dumped his ashes!
General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny And Carly Corinthos Need Something To Bring Them Together
General Hospital viewers know that Sonny and Carly Corinthos (Maurice Benard, Laura Wright) are looking at the end of their marriage, because Carly just doesn’t trust Sonny anymore. Having another baby is out of the question, because Carly won’t risk having something go wrong with another child like happened with Donna Corinthos (Arya and Ayla Dormiani) – besides, General Hospital viewers know having a baby is no way to fix a marriage!
Luckily, Donna’s potential birth defect turned out to be easily repairable and not as severe as doctors had feared; but Sonny and Carly had another child together – Morgan, whose body was never found! There were plenty of hints a while back that Morgan could finally return, but it never happened – but then, there was the pandemic and all the problems that happened with it. Perhaps it just hasn’t been the right time to bring Morgan back, and although Bryan Craig had expressed some interest a couple years back, maybe he’s no longer available and a recast would be in order!
