FAMILY TIME Sister Wives’ Meri Brown cuddles up to rarely-seen sister Rebekah at Utah home after ex Kody cuts her out of family
MERI Brown has shared a photo with her sister Rebekah as she moves on from ex Kody Brown.
The Sister Wives star indulged in family time with her sister and gushed about her on her birthday.
The sisters cuddled up as they wore matching hoodies in the smiley snap.
“Happiest of birthdays to my sweet sister Rebekah!” Meri, 52, wrote.
“She’s a loving mom of 6, a bad ass business woman who I’ve seen take on challenges and kill them this past year (super proud of her for that btw), wouldn’t say a bad thing about anyone, and so sweet and empathetic she’ll cry with you at the drop of a hat.”
“Last month she came to my Worthy Up Weekend and allowed me to push her WAY out of her comfort zone.” she continued.
“How she feels about me now TBD (jk!) She has dreams and goals and plans and ideas and just wants to live life and love to the fullest.
Looking forward to seeing her thrive this year!”
Meri is one of seven siblings. Sadly, she lost her sister Teresa to cancer in 2006 and her brother Adam passed away last year at 54.
While the TLC star is turning to family, Kody recently revealed their marriage was over long before Meri announced the split.
“We started a breakup seven years ago and have been going through just a process of trying to figure out what to do,” Kody told Us Weekly in October.

Speculation the two were having difficulties started as early as 2020, when Meri posted cryptic quotes on social media and ditched her wedding ring.
On January 10, 2023, Meri shared an official joint statement with Kody about their divorce saying: “After more than a decade of working on our relationship in our own unique ways, we have made the decision to permanently terminate our marriage relationship.”
The statement continued: “During this process, we are committed to kindness and respect toward each other and to all members of our family, and we are also committed to the continued healing of any and all relationships within the family so that we can move forward with forgiveness, grace, and love.”
WEDDING SNUB
Meanwhile, it’s been reported that Meri doesn’t care about being snubbed from ex-sister wife Christine’s wedding.
Christine’s fairytale wedding to David Woolley took place in Moab, Utah, a few months ago, but aired in a TV special on January 7.
Among the 330 guests, only Janelle Brown, 54, from the Sister Wives was invited, while Kody, 54, Robyn, 45, and Meri, 52, were not.
A source shared with The U.S. Sun how Meri felt about being snubbed from the October 7 nuptials.
“Meri didn’t care about attending,” the source revealed.
“Truthfully, she could care less. They had a falling out and have been distant ever since Christine left the family and moved to Utah.”
The source continued: “They were never close as sister wives or best friends for that matter. There is no love lost between them.”
Christine, 51, and Kody announced their split in November 2021 after 25 years of marriage.
A few months later, she moved to Utah, leaving Kody and her sister wives behind in Flagstaff, Arizona.
In December 2022, Meri and Janelle also announced their separation from Kody.
‘HAPPY’ IN NEW LIFE
Meri has since reportedly moved into her bed and breakfast in Parowan, Utah, as of April of last year, which is only a few hours away from Christine and David’s $770K home in Lehi.
A source told The U.S. Sun that a reason why Meri isn’t so bothered by the wedding invite is because she’s “happy” with her life away from the sister wives.
“The thing about Meri is she is really happy with her life right now,” a source said.
“Aside from not having Kody in her life, she has found her peace.”
The source continued: “She’s not lacking anything in her life at all. She doesn’t have animosity or anger.
“She’s in a really good place, and that makes her not care so much about what the other wives, whom she’s not even close to, are up to.”
Meri’s latest social media posts have been with other family and friends of hers that she appears to spend most of her time with.
