GARRISON Brown’s final texts left his mother Janelle alarmed ahead of his tragic death by suicide.
The Sister Wives star was found dead in his home on Tuesday after a suspected suicide at the age of 25.
Garrison’s final texts sparked concern for his well-being just one day before the tragic incident, TMZ has shared.
Police spoke with Janelle, 54, in the aftermath of her son’s death, according to a police report obtained by the outlet.
The TV personality claimed to officials that she discovered “troubling” messages from her son that were sent one day prior.
Police explained that according to Janelle, Garrison had texted a group of people that the Brown family works with on their TLC show.
The message reportedly read, “I want to hate you for sharing the good times. But I can’t. I miss these days.”
After learning of Garrison’s strange text, she told police that she reached out to her son who engaged with her for only a few minutes before he stopped replying.
She then contacted her other kids to have someone check on the 25-year-old, and his older brother Gabriel offered.
By the time Gabriel arrived in Flagstaff, Garrison had already died.
According to TMZ, the police interviewed three of Garrison’s roommates who were living with him at the time.
In the report, the individuals said they heard a pop on Monday night but they didn’t think it was a gunshot and didn’t even check on the TLC star to see what happened.
Police said the roommates did not realize that Garrison had died until Gabriel arrived on the scene and “discovered his brother was dead and holding a handgun.”
The report goes on to say that Gabriel called 911.
Garrison’s roommates told police that he was known within the household to “struggle with alcohol.”
However, Gabriel claimed he didn’t know anything was going on with his brother.
The 33-year-old explained that his younger sibling had just recently started a new job at a medical facility and “seemed to be doing okay on his own,” TMZ shared.
FAMILY DIVIDED
According to the outlet, Janelle told the police that Garrison was estranged from his father, Kody Brown.
Robert Garrison Brown was born on April 10, 1998, and often appeared on his family’s reality show that chronicled his parents’ polygamist lifestyle.
Janelle and Kody divorced in 2023, along with two of his other wives Christine and Meri.
Garrison enlisted in the Nevada National Guard in 2015 and graduated from basic training in 2016.
By 2021, Garrison had moved away from his family to Arizona and was not on speaking terms with his father.
On Instagram, Janelle wrote, “Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him.
“His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”
Sadly, Garrison’s death followed a tumultuous period with his family, particularly with Kody.
