Sister Wives: Kody & Janelle Finally Pay Off Their Debts On The Coyote Pass Land — No More Dues!

Kody Brown’s turbulent relationships have gotten a fair share of the limelight through Sister Wives. Apart from his marriages, the show also depicted the plural family’s dream to build houses of their own. To do so, they brought some land in this area by the name of Coyote Pass in Flagstaff, Arizona, as soon as they moved. Apparently, the family had not yet paid off the land entirely. But the latest update suggests that Kody and Janelle Brown have finally done so.

At first, Kody Brown from Sister Wives had a dream of building a giant mansion to live together with his 18 kids and four wives. But he decided against it. So, the family bought a vast part of the land, which was supposed to get divided among each spouse in 2018 as soon as they moved to Flagstaff, Arizona. Their lots are in Coyote Pass and worth $820,000. So, the family decided to divide the lot into five separate parcels. Hence, four for each wive and one for Kody. As per TheSun, Kody and Janelle have collectively cleared all the Coyote Pass dues.

Reportedly, Robyn, Kody, and Janelle’s lots are “fully paid” as of June 2. The Sister Wives stars owed the money to Fidelity National Title Agency but have cleared their dues now. These lots cost $170,000 each. The castmates owed the agency as much as $146,200. But they made a down payment of $23,800 recently. While Kody’s marriages with most of his partners didn’t work out, he still remains serious when it comes to building on the Coyote Pass land. Apart from him, Janelle had also expressed interest in the same in the previous season as she moved into an RV and set it up at the property.

Christine Brown announced her separation from Kody in November 2021. Then, Sister Wives viewers got to see their marriage fall apart in the previous season. Not only did she want to part ways with her husband, but she also moved back to Utah. Hence, the former third wife decided to sell her part of the Coyote Pass land as it was of no use to her. But it wasn’t easy. Reportedly, Christine and Kody had an agreement of letting her keep the funds she’d obtain by selling her Flagstaff house if she let Kody have her Coyote Pass land for merely $10

while it was worth $300k.

Hence, Meri, Janelle Robyn, and Kody are the only owners of the Coyote Pass land. The polygamist did mention that he wishes to turn Christine’s lot into an Airbnb or another form of rental. But so far, no one has built anything on the property. But now that the dues are clear, the family might do so. As mentioned above, Janelle is again embracing her RV life during the summers as she wanted to save up to build on Coyote Pass.
