Sister Wives star Kody Brown drops many hints on a new look for the family next season when he gets going in the final episode Sunday night.
As the One-on-One third installment airs on TLC, Kody is down to one wife, Robyn Brown. These Tell-All sessions made it clear that Kody’s marriage not only ended with Christine Brown, but with Janelle Brown, and Meri Brown as well.
So, where do they go from here?
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Has His Ducks in a Row
Kody Brown seemed to pay special attention to informing the fans that Robyn Brown remains the only wife he feels married to these days.
He also praised her for being “compliant” when the other wives were not compliant in his eyes.
Kody also said plenty about what he wants in a wife. The word “compliant” popped up a few times as something he wants from a wife.
Then he claims his three original wives agreed to follow his leadership before marriage. But they refused follow him after they were married.
Now he is throwing around the word “patriarch,” which is a word Janelle despises. She said that she never signed up for a patriarch leadership.
So, it looks like Kody ushers out the old and is possibly getting fans ready for what to expect from the new Sister Wives.
Is Kody His Own Worst Enemy?
It looks like Kody Brown is doing everything in his power for fans to despise him. He did a number on three of his wives during this season of Sister Wives.
Now, the kids seem like fair game to him as well. When Papa Brown turned 18, the legal age of an adult, his father expected him to fly the nest.
So, when he wanted Janelle to boot out their son, he used his father’s strategy. It looks like he intends to follow his father’s strategy with his own kids. But Janelle proved the extra time at home gave Garrison a good foundation to move out on his own. He saved his money and purchased a home of his own.
Kody Brown complains that his life has been a struggle financially. So why wouldn’t he want his sons and daughters to have a better chance than he did by staying home a while longer and saving for their future?
Anyway, this incident seemed to open the starting gates for the fans to see Kody’s mindset on his adult kids. So, he looks as if he’s cleaning the house by sweeping out wives and adult children.
Sister Wives: Brown’s House of Cards Tumbles
Kody doesn’t seem to mind that the fans of his reality series see him as an ogre. It is almost like he’s perpetuating this image for the viewers with his words and behaviors. So, is this a precursor to the next Sister Wives season?
As TLC films season 18, Christine Brown’s son, Paedon Brown confirmed his mom is part of it. At one point a few months back Christine said the crew was at her Utah home filming.
So, it looks as if Kody, with all the spouses, past and present, will show up in the next season.
But it looks like the Sister Wives patriarch is getting fans ready for a new format. He’s confirmed he’s down to just one wife (Robyn) when it comes to wedded bliss.
He has also hinted about a new guy for Christine Brown. Then he said Meri won’t get any argument from him if she ever wants to find a husband of her own.
“They took it away from me…I feel cheated.”

So, is Kody feathering the nest for the fans with all these hints? Robyn Brown is mad that the other three wives took her polygamy life away from her. She also doesn’t want a monogamous marriage. Inside sources recently reported Kody and Robyn are actively pursuing more wives.
Maybe this is what Kody is getting the fans ready for as next season rolls along. Will it be about Robyn and Kody Brown building a compliant Sister Wives brood? Who knows, but he’s made sure the fans know he’s not on good terms with ex-wives and some of his adult kids. So, only time will tell what the Sister Wives family looks like next season on this TLC series.
