Kody Brown seems to bypass that fraction of a second where you think about something before saying it. That’s when most people realize it’s not a good idea to vocalize a thought, and they don’t.
But this is Kody Brown and every so often something slips through. The latest case in point happened while he made one of his personalized videos for a Sister Wives fan.
His mission was simple. All he had to do was wish a fan a very Happy Mother’s Day. Papa Brown seemed to do more than make this a greeting. Not only did it come off a bit strange, but he also sounded like he offered a hint about his future.
Kody Has a Way with Words?
The Sister Wives patriarch has said things on the show that he regrets making public. Some of the things he said to Meri Brown in that now-infamous therapy session made fans cringe.
He announced to the world that he believed she tricked him into marriage, along with several other things. Kody Brown’s tendency for saying something shocking doesn’t go unnoticed.
Fans flood the social media platforms after Kody Brown comes out with one of his doozies. He’s made some comical mistakes in the past. But it’s his degrading comments that seem to stick in the fans’ minds.
Sister Wives: Some Harsh Examples
Not too many of his Sister Wives fans forgot about what he said about Christine Brown when they courted. He said that she grossed him out while eating nachos.
Kody Brown claimed it was almost a game-changer for him. He slowed down the dating and almost didn’t follow through on the courtship. He said the scene of a “chubby” girl devouring nachos became itched in his mind.
Years later he admitted he was superficial with these thoughts. Yet he sprung this on Christine during a televised interview. The third Sister Wives bride became mortified to hear this for the first time in this venue.
During another interview, he claimed that Robyn had the “ick-factor.” This was due to her being a divorced woman with three kids. So, he wasn’t overjoyed with her history at the time.
Unlike Christine, who seemed hurt when Kody Brown told his demeaning nacho story, Robyn took it in her stride. She defended Kody to the interviewer who thought it was an awful thing to say she had the ick factor.
Not Robyn, she said she understood that this guy had so much on his plate to begin with. Then with her and three kids jumping on board, he took on more. She said she got where that ick-factor was coming from with Kody.
Kody Slips — Then Gives Out Strange Greeting
The Sister Wives’ father of 18 recently gave a Happy Mom’s Day greeting to a fan. Her husband requested this as a gift for his wife.
This woman is pregnant with her seventh child. Kody Brown wowed and cooed over the woman about to give birth again. Then he boasted that he has many more kids than that. But none of his wives have “yet” to give birth to seven kids.
Is the word “yet” a slip that Kody hasn’t hung up on the idea of fathering more Sister Wives babies? He and Robyn discussed this last year, and they didn’t close the door to more kids.
Besides that slip, Kody also offered several wishes to the mom-to-be. But one of those wishes might raise a few eyebrows.
He said to the woman that he hoped she is not suffering during her pregnancy. Well, when it comes down to it, that’s not something people usually say to an expectant mother. But at least this mom has six pregnancies under her belt so she knows what to expect.
The husband who requested this video was likely looking for encouragement. You can’t help but wonder if Kody pulled from his own experiences with his wives. So, there you have it, Kody Brown has a way with words again.
