Sister Wives star Kody Brown claims it’s “psychically damaging” to him the way his wives treat him these days but the fans see it differently.
Kody also said something shocking. He claims his Sister Wives blame him for his “problem children.” Many fans watching the show weren’t aware the family had any children that cause problems. Or at least nothing major that you might blame a parent for. So just what is Kody Brown talking about?
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Blamed for Kids’ Problems
Kody Brown frowned as no one included him in the conversation during Sunday night’s Sister Wives episode. Meri Brown made a joke as they divvied up the property. The other three wives thought it was funny and were hysterical with laughter. But not Kody Brown. Instead, he sulked.
Then later when Kody sits in front of the Sister Wives camera, he said he didn’t think this was funny. He is taking the dividing of the land seriously but he didn’t think the others were.
His wives seemed as if they were having a good time together. But that goes against what Kody has been saying over the last few episodes.
Kody painted a grim picture about the Sister Wives not liking one another. So, this scene of laughter between the women seemed to be the opposite of Kody’s latest reports.
While sitting there, he saw that the wives seemed happy with the land division. But he claims he waited for the other shoe to fall. That’s when he said he gets the blame for everything, including the “problem children.”
TLC Kids Turn On Kody?
Maybe Kody refers to the issues with the older kids on Sister Wives. But they’re not children causing issues. It is that their offspring seem to have a problem with Kody Brown.
His pandemic safety rules have the Sister Wives isolated from one another. Even Janelle Brown said he’s a bit over the top when it comes to safety. As Soap Dirt previously mentioned, a few of the kids complained about the family being so dispersed right now.

Gabriel Brown seems to think it’s Robyn Brown making the rules and his father enforcing them. He was vocal about his dad not seeing his other kids. Then Hunter Brown also spoke up about keeping the family apart. So maybe these are the children he’s got in mind when he suggests they have problems.
Sister Wives Fans See Kids as Top Notch
One thing the Sister Wives audience seemed to agree on is that the Brown moms did a good job raising their kids.
Sure a few went through a rebellious stage. But overall, they seem to be good kids with quite a few of them considered productive adults today.
So, the only problems seen with the kids are those who seem upset at their father. Not all their children appear on the show yet this season. Maybe Kody is talking about something the fans aren’t privy to yet?
However, it does seem odd that he said he gets the blame for problem kids in the family.
Hopefully, as this new season of the Sister Wives continues, there will be more clarity.
But for now, fans can only guess why Kody feels he’s blamed for his Sister Wives children’s problems.
