Fans knew it was about time that at least one of his wives would finally quit her “toxic” marriage with the polygamist. Sister Wives: Christine Confirms She’s Leaving Kody!
In the past few seasons, it was pretty evident that Christine was about to give up on her “spiritual” marriage with her shared husband. She’s been devastated for years and even mentioned that she feels like she’s at the bottom of Kody’s priority list. Recently, the news of Christine moving to a $1 Million Duplex went viral all around. TV Season & Spoilers revealed that she also sold off her $700K Flagstaff house after struggling for a while. Eventually, the third bride gave out an official announcement about the split. She posted her statement on Instagram, “After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart”. The TLC celebrity announced, “I have made the difficult decision to leave”.
Despite their split, Christine confirmed that she and her ex (shared) husband would continue to have a strong presence in each other’s lives. Well, they are ready to do so only because they have to parent their six children together. The Sister Wives star asked for people for grace and kindness as the family navigates through this stage. Soon after this, Kody also revealed his statement on the topic. John Yates took a screen said, “Christine’s decision to leave comes with a great deal of sadness”. The polygamist added that he has a large amount of respect and admiration for his third (now ex) wife. As of now, it’s certain that the ex-couple will be co-parenting their six kids.
Sister Wives: Is Robyn To Be Blamed For Christine & Kody’s Separation?
While the news of Christine and Kody’s separation was shocking for a lot of fans, they had an idea that it would come through sooner or later. Christine was seemingly suffering through their bad marriage ever since Robyn walked in. By the looks of it, Sister Wives viewers knew that Kody never prioritized his third wife over anyone in the family. Hence, it was about time that she left. Even in the official trailer of Season 16, Christine revealed that she couldn’t watch Kody have a fully functional marriage with Robyn, while her own marriage was dysfunctional. On top of that, she has also said that she “can’t trust a word that comes out of Kody’s mouth” while calling her marriage with him “sad”.
Hence, it seems highly likely that Christine blames Kody’s youngest wife for their divorce. On the other hand, an insider told UsWeekly that the split happened because Kody was completely devoted to Robyn. However, since he propagated polygamy, Brown had to remain married to the Sister Wives even though he didn’t love them anymore.
