Sister Wives cast member Janelle Brown is not slowing her down these days. She continues to strive for independence and success following the split from her longtime spouse and TLC co-star Kody Brown. It has not been an easy road for her, but she feels she has finally gotten things figured out, and boasts she is now “living her best life.”

Janelle of Sister Wives has made many changes to her life over the past several months. Her transformation began when she and her spiritual partner of three decades, Kody Brown, parted ways. Fans witnessed his ego take a direct hit once the news broke that his life was about to change drastically.
He initially believed that he was the glue that held his Sister Wives family, and reality television series together. However, he quickly discovered that his first three spouses, especially Janelle Brown and Christine Brown were more than capable of living independently, and successfully on their own.
Since the split, she has achieved the majority of her success on her own. She loves being an independent woman. This has reportedly hit him hard.
No longer can he stand tall and take credit for his ex-wives’ accomplishments. In fact, she and her former co-wives Christine and Meri appear to be reaching greater heights of success without their ex in their lives. This is a bitter pill for the Brown family patriarch to swallow.
Kody Reportedly Struggling Financially Following Split
In April news reports suggested that Kody and his remaining wife Robyn Brown were struggling financially. According to his daughter Gwendlyn Brown. She said that the couple’s spending was out of control and that they were living a lifestyle way beyond their means.

Now that she, Christine, and Meri are no longer pitching into the Brown family bank account all the financial responsibility falls on him. Especially since Robyn doesn’t have a job, or a side gig to help out financially – or at least that she will talk about.
Even though Season 18 of Sister Wives is set to begin airing in September, the money generated from the series will be a far cry from what Kody is accustomed to earning. In 2022, reports said that the Brown family earned about $50,000 per episode.
However, now that there are four separate entities splitting the earnings that will be reduced to around $12,500 per episode for each Kody, Christine, Meri, and Janelle. Give or take.
Sister Wives: Janelle Struts Her Stuff – Lives Life on Her Terms
Janelle says she enjoys every minute of her life. In fact, she says she is living her best life, and on her terms. She admits that at first, she was a bit nervous about taking full control of her life. However, once she made her mind up she sat down, made some new plans, and rolled with them.
She likes making decisions on her own. The Sister Wives star says she no longer has to worry about what anyone else thinks about her choices. She is free to do exactly what she wants the way she wants. She admits it is very rewarding. She has become more independent, healthier, and satisfied with her life choices.
By taking control of her life, she says that not only has managed to shed over 100 pounds, but she is also much healthier. She credits her improved health to diet and exercise and her pink drink wellness products.
She has many new friends and enjoys traveling and engaging in new adventures. Recently she shut down rumors about her love life. Some believed that she is dating. However, she is not dating anyone at this time. But she is not ruling out the possibility.
For now, the Sister Wives star Janelle Brown is having the time of her life doing as she pleases. Fans believe she enjoys strutting her stuff. Not to mention rubbing her happiness in her ex-Kody Brown’s face from time to time.
But the most important thing to her right now is her family, her health, and her happiness. According to her, anything more at this point is just an added bonus.
