Christine saw her girls realize how shitty Kody was to them and their mom as they matured. Right now, Truely actually sees her dad apart from her mom, where her dad lives and likes being. This would NEVER have happened had she stayed. Yet you criticize her for saying that she has engineered a better relationship between Kody and Truely by leaving. Remember, when she’d left him but remained in Flagstaff he didn’t bother to see Truely, to make room for her in his home, or care other than ego. At least Truely doesn’t have to experience the complete rejection her sisters did while living in the same city.
I think Kody would be the same way with his kids even if he didn’t have as many. I think he’s the way he is because the kids have grown up and found their voices and he doesn’t like being called out on his bullshit. He likes not being questioned about anything. For instance, every time he’s made his family move without considering anyone else’s feelings or wants. The only people’s feelings he cares about is his own and Robyn’s. It’s clear that he favors Robyn’s kids because Robyn has made it so that they are all reliant on them and don’t question their authority even when they become adults.

Can we touch on the fact that Robyn keeps telling Meri to stay then Easter or whatever they celebrated rolls around they don’t invite her over?! Kody and Robyn MUST not watch the show because it’s all kinds of cuckoo bonkers on that side of town. Nothing really big has happened, but little things have. It’s like TLC isn’t offending us face first, just small digs here and there… just wait for it, TLC never disappoints.
