Sister Wives: Why Did Kody Brown Get Teary-Eyed In The Latest Episode?
Kody Brown is still processing the recent changes in his life. He visited his former wife, Janelle’s home in the recent Sister Wives episode. He greeted their youngest kid, Savanah, with ‘Hi’ followed by a hug soon after entering their home.
The father of eighteen then had a nice interactive meeting with Janelle and her daughter. Kody asked their daughter if she liked their new place. Then, he was seen expressing during a confessional that he always had a wholesome bond with Savanah.
Kody soon became emotional discussing the lack of a healthy relationship with his boys, Gabriel and Garrison. The Sister Wives cast member thus went on to admit that he had been out of touch with both his sons for quite a while.
He then expressed sadness that things were so much better when they were together. Taking a deep breath, Kody said, “I think and hope that in time, we’ll just get over this.” He later stated that his sons were not willing to have a connection with him.
Sister Wives: Gabriel & Garrison Open Up About Their Estrangement With Kody!
Kody Brown’s estranged relationship with his and Janelle’s sons, Gabriel and Garrison, is a common piece of knowledge. The trouble in their relationship started during the pandemic after their father felt they were disobeying him.
During one of the recent episodes of Sister Wives, Garrison told Christine that he has bought a house, entered a school, and bought his dream car since he last had a conversation with his father. The estranged kid also stated that Kody was least bothered about their lives.
Even his mother, Janelle, said during a confessional that Kody’s bond with their sons underwent a change after they grew older. She admitted observing that her ex had a problem with his older kids while he adores his younger kids.
Janelle went on to share that it was easier for Kody to be the father of their kids when they were young. The fifty-four-year-old admitted that it was so because Kody was important to her kids then. Janelle went on to add that her children valued his opinions, and guidance mattered to them; thus, Kody felt respected.
