Esme Prince Feels all Alone on General Hospital
On GH right now, Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) suffers amnesia after taking a swan dive off a Wyndemere parapet. All she knows now is that she’s pregnant and facing criminal charges. Then, Nikolas Cassadine (recast Adam Huss) told her he’s her baby daddy.
Plus, this creepy nutcase, Heather Webber (Alley Mills) lurks around Esme, protecting her from other inmates at Springridge. This confuses her on General Hospital, but she knows she needs someone watching her back.
So far, Heather’s keeping Esme all to herself. And Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) hasn’t had any face time with her in the prison — at least, not yet. Nikolas tried to get Carolyn Webber (Denise Crosby) to brainwash to keep her memories blocked.
She refused, so it seems very likely that the young woman will remember her past at some point on the ABC soap. But when will she recall that she was adopted? And her adoptive parents are dead? And GH viewers wonder who killed the people that raised her.
Is Heather Webber More Than We Know on GH?
We predicted many months back that Heather was Esme Prince’s biological mom on General Hospital. It was finally confirmed by the ACB soap and, as we also predicted long before the reveal, sociopath Ryan is her dad.
The tale that Heather Webber told Ryan Chamberlain is that she arranged for adoption and missed the entirety of her daughter’s life. But we suspect that’s a big fat lie that she told Ryan — perhaps so he won’t kill her.
But the whole truth will come out once Esme recovers her memories. There’s one person in particular that she might recall with perfect clarity — her beloved nanny Maggie Fitzgerald. Is it someone currently on the screen?
There’s a prevailing fan theory that Heather might secretly be Esme’s nanny that helped raise her. One letter from the nanny to Esme in Port Charles shows a UK return address. But if it is Heather, she might have someone postmark the letter for her overseas.
Did Heather Kill Esme’s Adoptive Parents on General Hospital?
On General Hospital, Esme Prince told Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Bechtel) that her adoptive parents died in a tragic way and their deaths were “unexpected”. That sounds suspicious, right? Particularly given that her biological parents are both murderers.
Esme is having a hard time adjusting to life in Spring Ridge. Who has her back aside from Heather Webber?

Given Heather’s ongoing incarcerations and commitments to various asylums, it’ll be hard to fit being Esme’s nanny into her timeline. But GH is known for improbable retcons (rewriting history to make present storylines work). So, they may do it anyway.
But what is likely is that Heather might have killed her birth daughter’s adoptive parents. She’s unhinged and might have snapped if she thought they mistreated her spawn. Or she might have had a fit of jealousy offscreen on General Hospital.
Either way, it’s entirely possible she’s the one who slaughtered the people who adopted Esme Prince. Given that their deaths were both untimely and suspicious, there is murder written all over it. We’ll just have to wait and see what spills on GH.
